Role: I play Ransa, a college student who leads a very secluded life. As the film progressed, his background is revealed. He comes from a very well-to-do family. Ransa represents today's youth -- he is very fearless, lives on the edge and does not take life seriously. At the same time, he is an idealist. His energy can be used for the good but Dukhi Bana uses it otherwise. That's why he has grey shades.

Working with Anurag: Anurag and I were in Aansh theatre group. I was a newcomer, and Anurag watched me grow. One day, he asked me to play Ransa.

On the sets: During the shoot, I met with two accidents. I was stuck to the neon lights and my back got burnt. The second time, I almost fell off the roof.

I have a lot of expectations from Gulaal. I think this film will do something good for my career.
