Ajay Devgan, U, Me Aur Hum
Sure, the man can be versatile. He's given some terrific performances in the past, whether it required conveying intensity or vulnerability.
But in U, Me Aur Hum, he lets you down with an inconsistent, over-the-top, melodramatic delivery and wince-evoking farce that neither convinces nor moves.
Not to forget the drunken stupors and 'You know something...' at the opening of every unfortunate sentence. And a tacky wardrobe, featuring unbuttoned, gaudy-coloured shirts, simply doesn't help his case.
