He earns more than them all, from his various business interests back home, though he has limited educational qualifications. He is close to Thankam's family and falls in love with Kochurani.
"When the mother comes to know of the love affair, she takes a transfer to Peerumedu from Kottayam and starts living there. Things take a new turn even there, as they meet Dr Ingachan, played by Mukesh," adds Janardhanan.
