Ashutosh Lobo Gajiwala's ICSE examinations starts on March 2, and any other student would be have cramming. But this 15-year-old is in Los Angeles, basking in his newfound Oscar glory. Ashutosh played Salim in Slumdog Millionaire that bagged eight awards.
The young lad hails from Mumbai's Campion School, like Tanay Chheda, who played his brother Jamal in Slumdog. His parents are both doctors -- his father Dr Kalpesh Gajiwala is a plastic surgeon while his mother Dr Astrid Lobo Gajiwala works with Tata Memorial Hospital in the tissue bank research department. Ashutosh, however, does not want to be a doctor. He has always dreamt of Hollywood.
He talks to Patcy N about his Slumdog experience.
