Yes, I did films that were good but didn't do well. Even after my Punjabi movie became a big hit, I started getting the same kind of offers. I think it is all about your hard work and luck, not about scripts or acting. There have been many times when the worst acting and scripts work. There is no dearth of work for women in the industry. But I will not lower my standards.

Will you ever return to films?

I was offered Hindi films, which was not to my standard, and I'm not keen on just anything. After all, I'm not into acting for the sake of making money. I am ready to do films even now provided I get the sort of roles I want to do.
