You have always liked to tread the comfortable track. In some cases you habe even repeated technicians. How different was it working with music maestro Illayaraja, once again?
It was fun travelling with him on board a houseboat for two days. He was without an assistant. We rarely came to the shore before finalising the tunes.
Has it become a natural thing for you now to write your own scripts? Earlier, you had people like Srinivasan writing the screenplay for you.
[Smiles] Script writing is still a tough job for me. I still prefer someone else writing it for me. But I have ventured on my own whenever I can't find anyone to write for me. Anyway, now I am finding it easier to direct the movie, after visualising it as a scriptwriter beforehand.
