You are comparing yourself to Sita. So ready to go to vanvas too, if required?
Shaadi ke baad toh vanvas hi hota hai na [laughs].
What if the bridegroom does not like the way you are? Are you willing to change yourself?
What do you mean? I am traditional too. But it's not that I want people coming to my place or me going to meet them with tea. I want a guy who likes me the way I am. In reel life I do what the script demands but in real life, I'm different.
Why not someone from the film industry itself?
Everyone in the industry is engaged [smiles]. Rahul Gandhi is a bachelor but I cannot reach him. Maybe if he sees the show he might propose to me because I'm looking beautiful today. I don't mind cricketers also; there are a few bachelors like Mahender Singh Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh. (smiles)
How would you define marriage?
Mere liye shaadi ek pavitra bandhan hai. It is a commitment, ek aisa rishta jahan main jeene marne ki kasam kha sakti hoon. Mere pati ho, bachche ho.
A girl always says that she will not marry but a time comes when she actually wants to. She longs for a family. She wants someone to be waiting for her when she returns home. I have worked so much but now I feel lonely. I feel I should get married. I want a guy who can hold my hand all my life.
This is the first time an item girl will become someone's mashukaa. Aapka aashirwad raha toh maa bhi ban jayungi [smiles].
