We have seen Blessy's genius on screen with his four Malayalam films -- Kazhcha, Thanmatra, Palunku and Calcutta News -- all of which had interesting characters.
Now the filmmaker is back with Bhramaram starring Mohanlal, Bhoomika Chawla, Hindi comedian Suresh Menon and Muralikrishnan. Ajayan Vincent handles the camera while Mohan Sithara is the music director.
This is the Blessy's second film with Mohanlal after the amazing Thanmatra.
In an exclusive interview, Blessy tells Meghna George what to expect from Bhramaram. Excerpts:
What is Bhramaram all about?
Bhramaram is a family suspense thriller which can also be called a road movie of sorts. Mohanlal plays the role of a jeep driver in a high range area. He is a school dropout and lives in modest surroundings.
Suresh Menon makes his entry in Malayalam playing a share broker. Muralikrishnan, son of the late actor Bharat Gopi and the script writer of Rasikan, plays a doctor.
The three are childhood friends and are meeting after a long time. I can't reveal more as there is a suspense element to it. Bhramaram narrates a story of what happens in ten days, in five days.
