Clash of the Kumars

After Prem we now turn to Ajay Kumar, the actor who made a sensational debut in Prem-directed Excuse Me. The film went on to become a huge hit.

But Ajay Kumar who was known as Ajay Rao at that time made the mistake of accepting films with inexperienced directors. His career was almost in dumps when debutant director Chandru narrated him the story of Taj Mahal. Ajay got a lease of life when Taj Mahal became a hit.

Ajay's Jaaji Mallige is directed by Anantha Raju and produced by Anaji Nagaraj and film distributor Jayanna. He is confident about audience acceptance as the film has a good story line.

Incidentally, Jaaji Mallige is also a remake of the Dhanush Tamil starrer Devatheya Kandein. Delhi-based model and actress Gowri Munjal is the heroine of this film.

Komal, Bullet Prakash and Nagashekhar play the other important characters in this comedy/serious film.
