Frankly, it's unfair to talk about Yeh reshmi zulfon and not mention Aaiye meherban (Howrah Bridge) and Aao huzoor (Kismat) in the same breath. I dub it the O P Nayyar-Asha Bhosle seduction trilogy. One can never quite get enough of Asha humming these scorching numbers that have retained their sexiness over the years.

What I truly love about Yeh reshmi zulfon is how she constantly improvises throughout a song, not just relying on the honeyed texture of her vocals, with spontaneous gestures and ada.
