Were you disappointed with the average performance of your first Telugu film Ontari at the box office even though your acting was appreciated?

I committed to Ontari because I loved the script. It was a realistic movie. After being raped by two persons, the heroine jumped to her death from a two-storey building.

But I heard that the Telugu audience did not like the heroine getting killed in front of the hero! I thought the film was logically packed. Though I am happy people appreciated my performance, I am sad that the movie didn’t do well.

Do you have any Telugu projects now?

I am getting many Telugu projects. I haven't confirmed any so far. Once Hero gets released I will be able to do it.

Do you want to continue working in Telugu movies?

If I get good offers from good banners to act with good heroes, I will definitely do them.

What do you say about the Telugu film industry?

It is professional, technically it's next only to Hindi. Nowadays I feel very comfortable working in Telugu.
