You acted with Nitin for the first time. Nitin is more or less your age group. How was the experience?
He was good to me. We got along pretty well. I enjoyed each and every bit of working with him.
Hero is your second Telugu film. How is the experience of acting in the Telugu film industry? How different was it from Malayalam and Tamil industries since you have been acting in them?
Acting is the same in all the languages. The only thing I found different is the language. I found it difficult to handle Telugu when I did my first film Ontari. But nowadays I feel comfortable working in Telugu because I can follow the language pretty well.
Hero is shot by a debutant director GV Sudhakar Naidu who has been an actor before. How do you perceive him as a director?
I think as a director I will give him full marks. He has worked as if he has directed many movies. As he would explain in the right way, we were able to perform well. He would tell me, 'Bhavana madam, I am giving this scene to you and you can perform the way you want to perform.'
I am very comfortable working with these types of directors. Some directors show me how to perform and ask me to mimic. I can't mimic.
So the director GV gave you a lot of scope to improvise and perform your own way?
Yes. I was so comfortable working with GV garu. He knew how to act in front and behind the camera.
