'Telugu film industry is professional'

After making her debut in Malayalam with the hit film, Nammal, Bhavana was part of some spectacular hits like Chronic Bachelor, CID Moosa, Swapnakkoodu, Naran, Chanthupottu, Chess, Chintamani Kolacase and Chotta Mumbai.

But she never really got the credit for it all and some wrong choices made things even more difficult for this beautiful actress.

She then moved to Tamil and though films like Chithiram Pesuthadi, Veyil, and the recent Jayam Kondan were hits, she did not rise to the big league.

Meanwhile, she started working in Telugu films with Ontari [with Gopichand] which was released in February this year.

Now she is back in Malayalam, with two high profile projects, Lollipop and Twenty 20, as well as her second Telugu film Hero [opposite Nitin] slated to release shortly.

In an exclusive interview, Bhavana opens up on her thoughts and career. Excerpts:

What is so attractive about the script of Hero that made you sign the film?

First of all, I loved my character in the movie. I play a bubbly, innocent girl. It's a very interesting character. She is so different from others -- the way she talks and walks -- everything is different.

I loved the way the story unfolded -- it's very interesting -- there’s romance, action and humour.
