For this runner-up of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005, taking part in Jo Jeeta was more important than doing any other reality show.
"I took this up because of its big concept, good singers and the channel," he says. So, far he hasn't regretted his decision.
"I have had a very good experience on this show. All the singers are good and competition is tough. I am trying to sing better and working hard to win. If stars favour me, I will win," he adds.
Asked if there were offers from his mentor Himesh Reshammiya as promised on his show, Vineet replies, "Whatever offers I have got till date is only because of him."
So what is in the pipeline? "I have sung for films like Rocky, Good Boy Bad Boy, Nanhe Jaisalmer and the title song of Dasavathaaram," he answers.
