He may not have won Amul Star Voice of India but he came very close. Now, the runner-up wants another go at winning.
"My experience in Jo Jeeta has been wonderful. I have got good comments from the judges and full marks five times in a row. I have got good votes from viewers. If my fans support me, then I will definitely be in the top three," he says.
"Star Voice of India made me popular and I got offers to sing and act in Bhojpuri films. But I didn't take them up because I was not prepared. Plus, my mentors told me to concentrate on singing. I also rejected television offers because I have seen how my friends slog," he adds.
When quizzed about the tiff between him and Rahul Vaidya on the show, Harshit says, "All participants on the show have a fan following. In this show, we learn a lot of things and there is lot of pressure. I think we should concentrate more on singing rather than talking about letters you received from fans."
Harshit's future projects include singing for Raaz 2 and Meri Khwabo Mein Hai with Alka Yagnik.
