Don't you feel that after the Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag debacle, it's a do or die situation for RGV?
No, I don't feel so. There are many situations when we deliver to the best of our abilities but they are not up to the mark. It's very normal that some things run and some don't.
The important thing is that if we have committed any error, we should learn from it next time. I don't think RGV has not learnt from his past experiences. For that matter, I don't think I am a weak person, who does not learn from his mistakes.
I ask this because even though RGV has delivered many flops in the past, the flak he received for Aag was huge.
Yeah, this might be true.
These days, we can see a new Amitabh Bachchan on your blog -- one who is very different from the politically correct version. Why this transformation?
Blogs are such a medium where I should feel that I am talking to myself, to my conscience. Whatever is inside my mind, I should bring out honestly.
Secondly, before this, I had no access to a medium through which I could reach my audience directly.
Now, I am getting that opportunity through my blog. I can talk directly [to my fans] without any interference, and one gets an immediate response. On the blog, people criticise and abuse me. But this medium is such that it feels like I have opened the doors of my house and I invite my viewers, critics and fans in equal measure to express their opinion. If I deem fit, I will answer them too.
