While Tuesday's rain in Mumbai brought life to a standstill, irrepressible Genelia D'Souza was unperturbed, as she chatted away with Rediff readers from her Bandra residence.
For those, who miss the chat with the star of Aamir Khan's upcoming film, Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na , co-starring newcomer Imran Khan, here's what transpired.
rewpune asked, what's the story of Jaane Tu?
Genelia D'Souza answers, It is a college campus love story, something that everyone goes through.
laverintyberia asked, Hey you look cute in mere baap pehle aap... why dont u act more in Hindi movies.. we would love to see u more
Genelia D'Souza answers, It is not a conscious decision to be in the South or North. It is the films that attract me and that is the reason why you will be seeing more of me in Hindi movies. I balance my work equally.
cool_technocrat asked, how close u r too ur character from Boomarillu personally
Genelia D'Souza answers, Honestly, Hasini, the character in [Telugu film] Boomarillu has become my role model. I definitely relate to her a lot. Her innocence and way of life is something I would always possess.
jaivas asked, Genelia, I feel you are the most cute and adorable face I have seen on screen in a long time. If I am not mistaken, you first appeared in a fairness cream ad, where you enacted the character of an aspiring cricket commentator, right?
Genelia D'Souza answers, Yes, you are right.
DS asked, Gene - what about telugu industry & people
Genelia D'Souza answers, It is a place where I got a fair amount of experience. I learnt a lot from the Telugu industry. The industry for me is my home away from home.
