Music: Yuvan Shankar Raja
Yuvan Shankar Raja in an interview to rediff.com claimed that this is one of his favourite albums.
His music was perfectly attuned to the intense and hard-hitting theme of the film. The album had western style instrumentation, splendid rhythm and meaningful lyrics. It also had the rare distinction of the father, Ilayaraja singing for son Yuvan, though not for the first time (he earlier sang in Paruthiveeran). Ilayaraja's Paravaiya ethanai kept you wrapped. This and the highly inspiring piece Para para pattampoochi will make Yuvan's album stand the test of time.
