Punch him. Poison him. Punish him.
The infallible spirit of an animated individual can survive every conceivable beating in the world and yet have enough life left to bounce some more. From Tom and pet peeve Jerry to Shrek and his chatterbox side-kick Donkey, they've got more muscle than you think (or see).
And even though the quality of animation in Indian films is yet to achieve the excellence of say, a Ratatouille, it hasn't discouraged Bollywood from giving it their best shot. And so we had Jumbo, a Thai-animation dubbed in Hindi by the likes of Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta and Dimple Kapadia.
While on the subject, just imagine (and there's tremendous potential to do that here, I promise you) if one of our very own movie characters were transformed into a cartoon, what would the end results be like? We decided to tweak facts, take some cinematic liberties and find out just the same.
While here are a few of our picks. Go on, tell us yours. CGI is the limit!
Surinder Sahni, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi
Dorky yet adorable, Surinder Sahni is all heart, especially when it comes to a certain Taani.
Wouldn't it be fun to watch his face flush with all shades of red and eye-balls pop out as rosy hearts every time his spots his object of affection?
Like Aladdin, he'd show his wifey 'a whole new world' in a whole new light (courtesy Punjab Power, of course) in his yellow car, which has secret flying powers.
She'd feed him biryani on the way and he'd smile goofily and compliment, 'A-1 hai ji.' Cut to beetroot pink!
