The year 2004 was awesome for SRK. His two films -- Main Hoon Naa and Veer-Zaara -- did roaring business. And the third, Swades, won him tons of critical acclaim.
Coming to Veer-Zaara, a cross-border love story was a big hit and marked the return of Chopra Sr to direction after a gap of eight years. It did notably well in the overseas market as well.
An old-fashioned romance of lavish proportions, Veer-Zaara featured SRK, once again, in classic lover mould, leading him to quip, 'I sleepwalk through romantic roles now!' Ah, well!
