When did this passion for cinema start? After you started acting?
Yes, after I started acting. When I was chosen to act in Roshan Andrews' Note Book, I didn't know anything about films or filmmaking. It was not a career option for me then.
Note Book was a turning point in my life. All of us had to undergo a workshop for ten days. Every day, we used to talk about cinema. Yes, I was lost in the beginning. Slowly, I started feeling cinema is an art form I want to be associated with.
Is cinema more of passion than a profession for you?
Yes, it is. This art form gives me positive energy, and it is not money or fame that comes along with films that interest me.
