When did you realise that you have given such a fabulous performance as Mari?
It was such a humbling experience while shooting Poo. Everyone on the sets would compliment me after each shot. It was the encouragement of the unit that pushed me to aim higher.
The belief that the director and the producer had in me gave me the confidence to push myself. It is bliss to have such a wonderful team.
Do you think Poo will give you the kind of respectability as an actor like what Paruthiveran did to Priya Mani?
I am not after any awards. If given, they are of course a real bonus! Even if I don't get awards, it cannot take away the pleasure I had while performing. Nobody can take that away from me. I am sure about one thing; after Poo, I will only do characters that are solid.
