Salim-Javed made sure Amitabh Bachchan's alarmingly ruthless Don always referred to himself in the third person -- as if it was dangerous for even Don himself to get too close.
The film remains Bachchan's most enduring thriller, and this line growled to Zeenat Aman drips with both manic mojo and thinly-veiled threat: 'Don likes wildcats very much.'
The only reason we don't shudder is because of how impossibly cool Bachchan plays the character.
