The Delhi girl will be seen in Mahesh Bhatt's production, Jannat, co-starring Emraan Hashmi.

Sonal's name was recently splashed in the newspapers as the girlfriend of Sahil Zarro, who is alleged to have supplied drugs to Rahul Mahajan, son of the late Bharatiya Janata Party leader Pramod Mahajan. Reports said Zarro called Sonal several times on the fateful day when Rahul Mahajan was hospitalised after an alleged drug overdose. The case is in court.
