Then again, why blame Shah Rukh alone? Last week, Little B was supposed to attend an event for Mumbai's street children.
The event was supposed to begin around 7 pm; Abhishek Bachchan walked in at ten, and by way of explanation muttered 'Bad traffic'.
See, that is the thing about being a star -- space and time is not the same for them as it is for us ordinary folks. Little B's home in Juhu is around 30 kilometres away from Nariman Point, the venue of the event -- and at that time of the evening, the drive is mostly against traffic, and thus easier.
Who is to argue, though? Certainly not the poor street kids, organised in neat rows by the organisers, all patiently waiting for the star to come and utter his platitudes, and marking the waiting period with an impromptu yawning competition among themselves.
