The India factor: The svelte star of heroes gets into the Bollywood mold for Williard Carroll's musical fantasy, Marigold. Here, she plays the titular character who comes to India and finds herself working for a Hindi film, of which Salman Khan is the choreographer. That makes dreamy dance sequences in Goa and Jodhpur mandatory. Even so, Sallu's first English film sank without a trace.
