A Mighty Heart (2007)

Cast: Angelina Jolie, Dan Futterman and Will Patton.
The India factor: Based on the book by Marianne Pearl, wife of the deceased Wall Street Journal reporter, Daniel Pearl, A Might Heart, documents the latter's kidnapping and murder. The star duo of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt flew down to Mumbai and Pune to film considerable chunks of the film. While Pune was passed off as Pakistan, in scenes involving Jolie, Mumbai made it as the erstwhile residence of the Pearls.
