Most women who come to our office to be actors, look the same -- they come with the same type of overly-done make-up, and the same kind of clothes, which are mix of Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. It is bizarre!

What I like best about Shriya is that she looks truly Indian. She is beautiful and simple. The moment she walked into the office, I knew she was the one. There was no audition for her and I have not seen any of her films. But that does not bother me.

How good an actress is she?

She knows her job well. Acting comes with experience, I don't think it can be taught. That came easily to her.

She was superb to work with. It's the good training that they get from the South -- they are highly professional and punctual. If she can't do something, she will say it clearly.
