The new story line will have Prerna, now a hard hearted character, setting up a Gurukul at Pachameshwar with her eight grand children (seven girls and one boy). With her enforced ideologies, she will make sure that no one falls in love in Gurukul.

Now, we take a look at the new faces making their debut in the popluar serial.

First up is Hiten Tejwani as Pratham Mittal playing a businessman and a 'take over tycoon'.

Complete with a blond French beard, brown contact lenses and spiked hair, Hiten says playing the character of Mittal is different from the character he played five years ago in Kutumb.

"It is quite challenging because I am a not playing the character of a nice guy like Karan," he says adding that he had to change his look thrice before producer Ekta Kapoor was satisfied.

And what about his family?

"I am happy doing three serials and my wife is happy doing one project at a time and wants to concentrate on that. She is happy attending her Spanish and Yoga classes. We are mentally prepared to start a family," he says.
