John Abraham as Ashutosh in Salaam-E-Ishq
He is so nice, you need to be pinched to believe. What makes Ashutosh so special is his unquestioned commitment towards his wife (Vidya Balan).
Besides being incredibly sweet and fun-loving, he knows when and how to take a stand. He's a Hindu but his wife is a Muslim. There is expected parental opposition. But even in the face of pressure, Ashutosh honours his commitment.
When his other half loses her memory, he is devotion personified. And ultimately wins her all over again. That is just so awww.
Three cheers to John for lending amazing warmth to his character with his 'I-am-right-here-honey' body language.
