Ayesha Takia

Her initial choice of roles (Socha Na Tha, Tarzan: The Wonder Car and Dil Maange More) made her ideal for stereotypes like spoilt kid or the cute girl next door. But just when you had your mind made up about Ayesha's skills, she gave us Dor.

Her astonishingly sensitive portrayal of a widow in Nagesh Kukunoor's film is easily comparable to the work of seasoned performers.

Talent is definitely not something this young actress has to lose sleep over. A few hits, however, would certainly add a sparkle on her mixed bag resume.
