Die Hard II (1990)
Um, yeah, this one.
Before going on to Cliffhanger, director Renny Harlin (also responsible for Nightmare On Elm Street 4, by the way) had this shot at John McClane. And, honestly, it sucked.
In keeping with the Christmas jinx, it's Eve-time next year. McClane's waiting for wife Holly at the airport, only to find that the airport's been overrun by a team of ex-commandos, in a lets-crash-all-the-planes kinda mood.
Thankfully, despite a bad action line, there're enough explosions for your popcorn and John's still fun, 200-odd F-words and all.
