Cult favourites Munnabhai MBBS and Lage Raho Munnabhai have conquered the south in the form of remakes. While Munnabhai MBBS was remade in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada, Lage Raho Munnabhai's Telugu remake Shankardada Zindabad is almost ready for release.
The film has megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead. It has been almost 10 months since his last film, Stalin, was released, and fans are eagerly awaiting his new film.
Both the Munnabhai films were directed by Rajkumar Hirani. But in the South, Jayanth has directed the first one and Prabhudeva is directing Shankardada Zindabad. Both the Shankardada films are produced by Gemini Film Circuit.
