Many people are asking me to direct it in Hindi but I am hesitant because I do not know the language. But Charan says I should do it and said he would help me with the language. If I direct it in Hindi, it will be with only unknown faces, because that is the beauty of the film.

Do you feel you are at the time in the Tamil industry when innovative ideas are being accepted and appreciated?

Yes, we are at the right time. Somebody asked me if I thought Chennai 600028 would have been such a big hit if it was made a few years ago. I guess people wouldn't have been ready.

People say that films like Kanda Naal Muthal, Veyil , Mozhi and Chennai 600028 are trendsetters. I must say I am humbled to be in the list.

But I feel Mozhi, Paruthiveeran and Veyil laid a nice platform for Chennai 600028. I would like to say thanks to them. I am sure many more good, trendy and novel films would be coming soon.
