Now Chennai 28 is one of the films that survived Sivaji...
I think it is the only film (that survived). I don't know what to say about the success of the film. We still can't believe what is happening.
Heard Rajnikanth wanted to watch the film...
Oh! That was the best part. He must have heard that even after the release of Sivaji this film was doing well. He called my father and told him that he wanted to see the film. When my father told us, we immediately arranged an exclusive show for him, his family and friends.
After the film started, I was looking at him all the time, and can you believe Rajni Sir actually enjoyed the film so much that he clapped and laughed loudly. I couldn't believe my eyes; I couldn't believe the fact that Rajni Sir was enjoying my film. When everybody else was watching Sivaji, Sivaji was watching Chennai 600028!
During the interval, my father introduced me to him. I went to shake his hand but he hugged me and kissed me on my cheek. He went on praising me but I was in a daze.
The best part is, he went home and called me and told me what he liked about the film. He then asked me to meet him one day.
Oh God! I was in seventh heaven! The superstar was praising me! He blessed me too. He is such a great man that he always encourages young filmmakers and tells nice things.
Will you get a chance to direct him?
God! I don't think I am ready for such a big responsibility.
