Discovering Rajasthan, Bollywood-eshtyle

Eklavya: The Royal Guard

Cast: Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Saif Ali Khan, Jackie Shroff, Boman Irani, Jimmy Shergill, Sharmila Tagore, Vidya Balan and Raima Sen

Soon-to-be released Eklavya: The Royal Guard is the latest film to be shot there. Directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, the film revolves around the royalty of Devigarh.

A young prince (Saif Ali Khan) comes into his own when his family is shrouded in conspiracy, deceit and mystery. A royal bodyguard (Bachchan) epitomising unconditional devotion will have to undergo the ultimate test.

Initially titled Yagna, the film boasts of eye-boggling action, one of which involves 600 camels. The sequence originally planned in Egypt was eventually shot in Bikaner. There was one funny incident where one of the humpy creatures struck the Big B on the head. However, the actor escaped unharmed thanks to the traditional Rajasthani turban he was wearing.

With it's exciting premise, talented cast and striking visuals, Eklavya looks every bit a winner.
