His next film will be very different from his previous films, he adds, referring to the remake of the Tamil film, Ghajini.
The film deals with a man who suffers from short-term memory loss and uses notes, tattoos and photographs to hunt down his girlfriend's killer.
A R Murugadoss, who wrote and directed the Tamil film, is handling the Hindi version as well.
"It is an unusual role for me," Aamir says. "There are plenty of thrills and adventure. I fell in love with this man (Murugadoss). He will continue to rise not only in the south but also across India."
Meanwhile, there is hardly any news on Lajjo, the Mani Ratnam project that was to team Aamir with Kajol.
"I don't think it will be made," Aamir says bluntly. "At least, I am not going to be part of it."
