Vaayuputhra, a family undertaking

Once again, Arjun Sarja was back in Bangalore to announce his new Kannada production, which will have his nephew, Chiranjeevi Sarja in the lead role. The film titled Vaayuputhra will be directed by his brother Kishor Sarja.

Vaayuputhra was launched in a big way with many leading lights from the Kannada film industry- Parvathamma Raj Kumar, Dr Vishnuvardhan, Ambareesh, Ravichandran, Ganesh-participated in the function to bless Chiranjeevi Sarja.

Ambareesh plays Chiranjeevi Sarja's father, a psychiatrist.

Talking to the media later, Arjun Sarja said that it was his desire to produce quality films in Kannada and he promised that Vaayuputhra would not only be a big budget entertainer but would also have a good social message.

The film will introduce Amaran, son of noted music director Gangai Amaran as a music director in Kannada. Sundaranath Suvarna is the cinematographer of this film.
