As India steps into its 60th year of independence, Raj Kapoor's RK banner also steps into its 60th year, since its launch on August 6, 1947.
And fans got a chance to see his work up close in an exhibition held at Mumbai's NCPA, on August 17. The exhibition included film trivia, photographs and props used in his movies.
The celebration will be extended to RK movies screened every Sunday at 8:30 pm on Zee Cinema. Director Kunal Kohli (Hum Tum, Fanaa) will share movie trivia, during the film screenings as well.
