Sunidhi: I was impressed by your song in Aandhi.
Gulzar: Which one?
*Sunidhi Chauhan fumbles but cannot recollect*
Gulzar: Tere bina zindagi se koi shikwa toh nahi.
Sunidhi: Sorry, I just could not recollect it.
Gulzar: It is my duty to help you when you need a cue. It is the director in me. Panchamda was sitting with Gauri Shankar at a pooja and this tune was playing. I had gone to meet him to discuss a scene. I heard the music, scribbled a few words there and then and asked his permission to use the song for Aandhi.
Sunidhi: Gulzar uncle, I have learnt cooking and I am good at it. Can I invite you to dinner if I cook?
Gulzar: I will eat anything except brinjals. I have left brinjals for Bengalis. Raakhiji loved it. For my shagun, she had sent a brinjal as big as a goat. I wonder from where she got it! My daughter Meghna and son-in-law are good cooks.
Sunidhi: How is your relationship with Meghna?
Gulzar: She is very bossy. She had the cheek to reject one of the songs, which I had written for her friend on the basis of the synopsis of a script, which she had given me. I was very hurt but when she gave me the entire script, I realised that the song would not fit in the story. She also belongs to the same young generation who do not mince words.
