Rang De Basanti has become a revolution of sorts, as it inspired the youth of the country to take to the streets to protest against issues like reservation.

Thanks to the Rang De wave, the country rose up in one voice to denounce the verdict when culprit Manu Sharma was acquitted in the Jessica Lal case.

"After Hrithik, Aamir is the number two hero of 2006 as both his films Rang De Basanti and Fanaa did well," says Taran Adarsh.
