Prashant Raj Sachdev has a tough job. He will make his movie debut with Ram Gopal Varma's remake of the Bollywood classic, Sholay.
And Raj will play the role immortalised by Amitabh Bachchan -- Jai.
But Raj -- who replaced Varma's earlier blue-eyed boy Mohit Ahlawat in the race to play Jai -- is not too perturbed. "Sholay is just an amazing twist in the amazing race of my life," quips the 6-foot-3 inch model-turned-actor.
I first met Raj two years ago, when he won the first runner-up in the Grasim Mr India 2004 contest. He had spoken about learning golf from his father since class IX, about his love for adventure and sports. So when I saw him on the Amazing Race Asia recently, it wasn't a surprise.
Soon after came the announcement of his foray into Bollywood.
