Facing the camera for the first time
There was no nervousness, but there was some anxiety on the first day although I had undergone training at the Anupam Kher acting institute. I had also worked for a music album by Himesh Reshammiya, but facing the camera for a film was a different experience and I was anxious.
Aishwarya had a big muhurat with many celebrities, including the Chief Minister of Karnataka, gracing the occasion. Indrajith Lankesh made things easy by giving me just one sentence for the muhurat shot. The expressions I needed on my face when Uppi sir (Upendra) spoke were also minimal. Uppi sir was also supportive. The first day's work went off smoothly, and I didn't feel anxious after that.
