Vasu sir's wife saw my first film Manassinakkare and recommended me. I could believe my luck only when I started shooting my first shot with Rajni sir. Another thing is, when I went for the first day of shooting, everybody, including the director, was seeing me for the first time!

Tell us about your first shot.

When I went there, I didn't know anyone. I was nervous but introduced myself. All of them made me very comfortable. Vasu sir, Prabhu sir, Ram Kumar sir... everybody was very caring and loving.

My first scene was a combination one with Rajni sir. I was not nervous as an actress but as a person!

Did Rajnikanth treat you like a kid? You are younger than both his daughters.

No. I am not a bubbly 20 year old! The role I am doing in the film is a very mature one. He treated me very well, like his heroine. He made me very comfortable.
