Moushumi Chatterjee plays a blind girl in Anuraag. An orphan, she stays in an ashram and makes friends with a small boy, who is suffering from cancer. The boy, played by Master Satyajit, makes a dying request to donate his eyes to her.
The film has many touching scenes like when everyone celebrates Diwali a month before because Satyajit will not survive until Diwali.

In another scene Moushumi wants to see the child who has given her sight and sees him for the first time in a photograph, through his eyes.
