Manju Warrier

We worked together only in two films, Kanmadam and Aaram Thamburan. Both were huge successes. Even today, people tell me how good we were in those two films. Manju was called Lady Mohanlal!

She was simple and sincere, but what made her stand apart was her amazing sense of humour. Only if you are humorous can an actor become lively. She was a lively person. She understood jokes and had a quick repartee. Not many can do that.

Unfortunately, I could do only two films with her. By then, she got married and retired from films.
