Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma who is producing the film, shrugs off any similarity between Bhoot and Darna Mana Hai. 'Bhoot is a hold-on-to-your-seats horror film, while Darna Mana Hai is a hold-on-to-your-popcorn horror film,' he says.
It is rumoured that Darna Mana Hai is on the lines of popular American television series Twilight Zone and is also inspired from the Japanese horror flick Yo Nimo Kimyo Na Monogatari - Eiga No Tokubetsuhen (Tales Of The Unusual).
Darna Mana Hai hits the marquee on July 25.
