Ronit Roy

As a child, Ronit Roy wanted to be a pilot. Then, a cowboy. After some thinking, he decided on becoming an actor. Today, he is better known as Rishabh Bajaj of Kasauti Zindagii Ki.

In 1992, he played the lead in the film, Jaan Tere Naam, but went unnoticed. The way people have responded to his portrayal of a millionaire businessman in KZK is unprecedented.

"One serial has made me more popular than 10 films would have made me," he declares. "People see me on the streets and stop in awe. Married women kiss my hand and their husbands don't seem to feel jealous. I go for a friend's party and I am accosted by all kinds of people."
