The shooting of Kuch Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kahein was delayed by a few months due to Fardeen Khan's arrest in the drug case.

However, producer D Rama Naidu stood by the hero till matters were sorted out.

KTKKHK also features veteran character artiste Vikram Gokhale after a long gap. He was last seen as Salman Khan's disciplinarian music teacher and Aishwarya Rai's father in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.
