Baazigar co-star Shah Rukh Khan's meanness rubbed off on Kajol as she played an obsessive psychopath with supreme conviction. She won her second Filmfare award for Best villain.

So impressed was Rajiv Rai with Kajol's performance that he wrote Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat with her in mind.

Too bad, coz Kajol wasn’t interested.
